We thought we’d share a couple of photos of the DBay Dental team participating in the Australian Dental Association Queensland (ADAQ) Annual Clinic Day recently.
This was our first time at the ADAQ Annual Clinic Day and we enjoyed it so much we’ll be attending next time too.
The Annual Clinic Day is an all day training event, which updates all members of the dental team on clinical and non-clinical matters. This year the topics included: the Changing Face of the Dental Profession; Restoring Cracked Teeth; How to Navigate your way through the Post and Core Dilemma; The Patient’s Experience: A master class in verbal and non-verbal communication; and Workplace Health & Safety Matters – who is in charge of what?
We did not run clinical practice on the day so that “we could sharpen the saw” – apologies to anyone looking for an appointment that day, however it was a worthwhile and enriching experience which will benefit all our patients.
The DBay Dental team regularly engages in Continuing Professional Development activities to ensure that our knowledge and skills remain up-to-date so that we can offer our patients the best possible care.
