Welcome to DBay Dental! At your first appointment with your dentist will ask you to complete a confidential dental and medical history questionnaire. This provides important information about your health and medications and helps your dentist to ensure that your treatment is the most appropriate for you.
Appointments
DBay Dental recommend that you always phone ahead to make an appointment with the clinic. DBay Dental will confirm your appointment 24 hours beforehand, so it’s essential that the clinic has the best phone number to contact you on. So that your dentist can attend to you without delay, DBay Dental does request that you arrive at least 5 minutes before the time of your appointment. Please report to reception so that they can advise the dentist of your arrival. The comfortable reception lounge has television, magazines and children’s books to keep every member of the family happily occupied should they need to wait.
Emergency Appointments
The dentists working out of DBay Dental keep aside a limited number of appointments each day for genuine emergencies. These appointments are released at 8.00am on the day and are not available prior to then. They are scheduled on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis, meaning that these appointments are offered to the first phone calls answered from 8.00am onwards.
What Do I Do If I Can’t Keep My Appointment?
If you are running late for your appointment, or if you find you cannot attend your scheduled appointment, please phone the clinic at the first opportunity. This will allow DBay Dental to reschedule if necessary and will help you to avoid a non-attendance fee. (A fee may be charged in some instances of non-attendance.)
Payment
Payment will be required on the day of your treatment. DBay Dental accepts Visa and MasterCard payments, and have HICAPS and EFTPOS facilities as well. Your Medicare and any private health insurance details may be required on the day, please bring along your private health fund card if you are .
Payment Methods
DBay Dental strive to make payment simple and accessible for all patients. The clinic accepts a range of card payments, including EFTPOS, Mastercard, and Visa debit and credit cards.
Please note that not all dentists at the clinic accept cash payments. DBay Dental recommend speaking with reception prior to your appointment to confirm available payment options.
If your treating dentist does accept cash, exact change may be required, as DBay Dental does not hold cash on the premises and may be unable to provide change.

In listening to patients DBay Dental have found that two of the major reasons patients don’t invest in their dental health is a fear or pain – in the mouth and in the back pocket!
For a long time DBay Dental have prided itself on gentle treatment but now the clinic can add interest free payment plans to ease the financial burden.
