Keeping Little Smiles Bright

We understand that getting your child to the dentist may seem like an overwhelming task, any medical intervention can cause anxiety for some children which can affect them later in life as adults. Our goal is to provide the highest quality treatment to children in a nurturing environment that enables them the confidence to continue their dental health journey.

With the school holidays upon us it’s no better time to not only bring our older children but also our younger family members all in for their dental check ups!

If you are not sure on whether it is too soon for your little one to visit the dentist we recommend that your Child’s first check-up commence from 2 years old. This allows the child to get familiar with the practice and the environment.

During your little ones visit our focus is on the individual and keeping the experience positive and as enjoyable as possible.  We may give them some glasses to try on, show them our special lights and even give them a ride in the chair.

It is important for all of our younger patients parents to remember to take full advantage of the Governments Child Dental Benefit Schedule (CDBS). The Governments Child Dental Benefit Schedule (CDBS) is for eligible Children aged between 2 and 17.

The (CDBS) is claimable over a 2-year period of up to $1000.00 that starts at the beginning of the calendar year, not from the first appointment date.

As long as your child is eligible and there are sufficient funds in your Medicare account.

The scheme covers your child for: Routine dental checks and cleans, X-rays, Fissure sealing and fillings, Root canal, and Extractions.

You can check your eligibility and/ or balance amount by calling the 24-hour Medicare inquiry hotline at 132 011.
